Very friendly and helpful staff. Website photos are accurate. Spotless, quiet rooms could use a little updating but nothing to complain about for a 4-Star location. Shares facilities and tour desk with Safari lodge, 100’ away. Only difference is Safari has views of the river, Bush has views of the park, with possibly of seeing animals from your room. Safari has a much nicer looking dining room with river view, but the dinner buffet at Safari is vastly inferior to the a la carte menu at Bush. You can eat at either place, but if you are really insistent about seeing the river-view sunset, make a reservation during the day. Or, go to Safari for breakfast and lunch, Bush for dinner. No-stress activity desk for game drive and river boat game tour, along with day trip to Victoria Falls. 3 hour game drives leave at 5:45 am and 2:45 pm.

Eco reception. Helpful staff. Beautiful clean rooms. Wi-Fi. Sky TV. And films. Comfortable. Romantic. Balcony over looking area where animals roam free. View of Chive River. Perfect Safari Lodge.

While we found the nature of Botswana very beautiful, Chobe Bush Lodge was our low light during the entire trip to Africa. Unfortunately, we found most staff are sad, disinterested and unfriendly (We tipped accordingly). The buffet food was usually over-cooked and lacking freshness. When we enquired about a cooked bug in our food, CSL staff were disinterested and dismissive. We found most of their staff (reception, food/beverages and activities offices) apathetic, unprofessional and dismissive. Hotel advises that tap water is not drinkable for foreigners in Bostwana, but charges steep prices for bottled water.

Good in-town Safari lodge at the edge of chobe national forest. Good starting for multi-lodge safari.

It's modern. Comfortable and very well located and services with Chobe park activities. The Safari Lodge is just across the street and all facilities are available.
No real character but very functional and more modern than its sister place.
Also they run your groups through her like a production line so book activities and dinner as required. Note this means the place really fills up with loud mouthed Americans who think they're still at home so piece and quite by the pool between gene drives can sufferresponse / report this review -

Amazing lodge bordering Chobe National Park. One of the best places in Kasane to have lunch by the pool. Don't forget to order their Cheescake
