  Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Short walk to supermarket, banks, restaurants etc. Looks like a dodgy neighborhood but very safe.

  Kasane is a small town with most of lodges being along the river. When i looked at them they were bit over my budget. Chiloto guest house is about 10min walk to the river and bars and about 20min walk to SPAR supermarket. At the first look the area is not convincing. It looked more like as it was in a vilage, not town. Gravel road, chickens and dogs running around. At the end turned out it is nice area. No trouble here. The rooms were well equipped and very clean, comfortable bed, aircon, nice bathroom and good few channels in tv. At night rooster and dogs didn't let me sleep but i kind of liked the villagish atmosphere anyway. If i am around i will stay there again.

  Noisy, food not nice, rooms close to the reception no privacy but rooms are clean and air-conditioned and they is always hot water

  Stayed here for a night after chobe safari. Was an excellent stay, clean rooms and toilets with air conditioning. Shops not too far. Good price/locations.
  
  The owner tifu and his wife were very helpful in trying to arrange a way for me to get to maun. They contacted people they knew at the airport to try and get me a cheap flight, unfortunately the planes were full but they got me a bus ticket and dropped me to the station. Went above and beyond my expectations!
  
  Would highly recommend this place for backpackers!
