  The experience was unique. Great stop over from South Africa or on your way.
  Big facility however requires maintenance.

  With places far apart this is a very convenient stop if your journey started in Gauteng. The camp site is nice and in good nick, facilities are great but, beware, it is right next to a railway siding/shunting yard. We could hardly sleep with the trains shunting through the night.

  A nice place to enjoy a drink or two with friends,accompanied by different Botswana birds. Will go there anytime i feel like getting away from traffic and people.

  A rather interesting but really nice resort. The outdoor ablutions were rather cute and nicely done amongst the trees.
  
  Ducks, chickens, rabbits and turkeys ran around the camp looking for scraps. A great place to stay in if you want to explore Moremi Gorge.

  It was very noisy next to the railway line. The camp is in need of some maintenance, but is seems that they are busy with it.

  After travelling across southern Africa and staying at a number of different camp grounds along the way, I definitely didn't expect 5 star luxury, but Camp Itumela was a little disappointing, especially as it was the last place to end off a 3 week roadtrip. The location on the otherside of the railway tracks (literally) does nothing to avert the flashbacks to scary movies.
  
  The facilities are decent, but service isn't the greatest, especially when there's only someone available to assist you from the afternoon.
