Description
A community based organisation which was formed in response to the HIV and AIDS epidemic which was at peak around early 2000 with high mortality due to AIDS coupled with increased HIV stigma.This was also during the time when the antiretroviral programme had not been rolled out by the Botswana Government.The coverage area for these support group being Nkoyaphiri East and West wards in Mogoditshane in the Kweneng District.Both of these areas are of high population density areas.Currently the group has about 80 orphaned and vulnerable children enrolled in the pre school -programme at the Batlang Day Care Centre.
