you get a lovely view of the area from up here and its even more beautiful during the sunset. the view of the valley from up here looks brilliant and the weather is windy and cool. the Fog sets in later on and early on in the morning. the trek up here is epic and one of the highlights of the trip. The only place where you'll get water or food. so make sure you stock up here if u planning a longer stay

Went during lunch time and they had a buffet. Refused to serve anything else or small portions. Food looked ok but was vegetarian. The person at the counter was pretty rude so we didn't really end up eating there. So can't comment on the food but the location is nice, great for a short break. Serves cool drinks and has a tiny gift shop.

Wonderful location with amazing view of the Tiger's Nest. We hiked up to the nest in two hours and then came down to the cafeteria to relax and have lunch. Also good place for non-hikers to join as the horse riding service reaches up to here.

Special hint for Bavarian hikers: you can mix a Radler here

A great place at a great location. The prices are on a heavier side. But In that location what ever they charge, it's more like a service they do.

This cafeteria is located at halfway on the hike to Taktsang or Tiger's nest. The restaurant offeres buffet lunch for the hikers. Usually after hiking Taktsang the hikers have lunch In the cafeteria on there way back. The cafeteria also offers tea and coffee. The food here is very fresh but a little bit expensive compared to the restaurant's from the city. One can also find souvenir like tshirts and other stuffs to buy in the cafeteria. There are wash rooms here which are very neat and clean. The decorations are also very nice as it compliments the nature. In conclusion it is a great place to have some rest and catch up on one's breath for the hikers. Happy hiking

Taktsang cafeteria is the only pit stop which is in between the hike to Tiger's Nest. They usually start the shop @ 7:30 am and close it when it is around 6:30 pm. This is one of the cafeteria which is owned by BTCL (Bhutan Tourism Corporation limited). Quite expensive.

Bonus: You would definitely make one of the cats as your friend here in this place.

The cafeteria is located on a mountain, in the middle of the trail to the Tiger's Nest monastery. The trekkers can take a break from their journey towards the monastery. There are indoor and outdoor seating facilities at the cafeteria. One can enjoy the majestic view of the mountain and the Tiger's Nest monastery while taking some snacks and coffee.

Offers a great view of the Tiger's Nest Monastery. Has decent food but feels a bit expensive. But when you consider the fact that there are no roads to transport the raw materials required to prepare the food, the cost is somewhat justified. Has clean toilets for the people trekking.. Overall a welcome sight for the tired trekkers

It's halfway through the trek to tigers nest. And it's a boon that it's there.
The view is amazing which is nothing out of the ordinary.
Since its halfway you don't have to carry any refreshments. The lunch buffet cost around 475 Nu.

Sheer eerie feeling. The temple devoted to Padmasambhava (also known as Gu-ru mTshan-brgyad Lhakhang, is an elegant structure built around the cave in 1692 by Gyalse Tenzin Rabgye; and has become the cultural icon of Bhutan. A popular festival, known as the Tsechu, held in honor of Padmasambhava, is celebrated in the Paro valley sometime during March or April.

It is a boon for trekkers, that Taktsang Cafeteria is located midway on the trek to the Tiger's Nest Monastery. It has proper places to sit which is helpful.

BUT, that leads to the escalated prices of the meals and snacks served there. Way obnoxiously priced meals and snacks and the trekkers have no choice but to buy food/drinks at twice/thrice the MRP as no other cafe or food joint is there on the 5-6hrs (2way) trek!!!

Very good location for the tiger nest monastery. Once you on your hike it is the best and only one place to stop where you can have drinks and meals with the beautiful views.

This place is not worth at all.
500 bucks for buffet for 1 person.
Food quality was ok. This was after 40 minutes of trek towards Tiger's Lair. Carry your own food cuz this is a loot. 70 bucks for 250ml of Pepsi.

This is the only cafeteria on way to tiger's nest. Unless you have packed your lunch this is the only option if you don't want to stay hungry. Food is OK but not worth what you are paying for. Toilets are dirty. Again it's like a monopoly and you have no other options.

This place is ok. The location is amazing and it's the only stop on the way to Taktsang. The food is mediocre.

If you are coming from the base, expect to climb about 2 hours to get to this spot.

You are able to see the Tiger's Nest from here, though it will look very small because it is quite a distance from it.

They serve food in buffet style, not fantastic, but you will be hungry from the climbing so you will still enjoy it.

Try to get a seat on the outside because it is quite stuffy inside
