My rating is for the retaurant where I dined with Bhutanese friends last week. The food is outstanding, freshly cooked by Ms Tashi Yangzom, the joint owner with her husband, using locally sourced ingredients. Bhutanese inspired dishes but also innovative with real creative flair.
I had the famous Bhutanese orchid curry, for the first time, despite 15 or so vists to Bhutan. baked mashed potatoes with a layer of lentils were outstanding.
The restaurant is just outside Thimphu but only just, say 3miles from the city centre, so try it! well worth a short journey!response / report this review -
