Nice Buddhist temple. One can get aerial view of the town of Phuentsholling, Jaigaon n even the Hasimara forest from here. There is a guest house for the Royal family beside this gumpha. This gumpha is also known as Kharbandi Gumpha,i guess.

A small Buddhist monastery admist the mountains on the phuntsholing-thimphu highway. You can have a nice view of the Jaigaon and phuntsholing town and the torsa river.

It feels so calm at this place. chantings and the chimes, chakras and the scenic view of the river. wonderful.
Though it is quite small in size as compared many other well known buddhist temples, but it definitely generates awe and sensory serenity. Peace !
However, just to add that there is an adjacent area to the south, which I think is the residence for the monks and it is out of bound for tourists.

    Beautiful Gompa and lovely view.
One can view Torsha river when it just enters plains from hills from here.

Both India and Bhutan is visible from here. One can make out difference between India and Bhutan with the distinct architecture of Bhutanese buildings.

Holy temple for Buddhists which is also called Gompa.
How to reach: For indians, no passport or permit is required to visit the place. you can come with your own vehicle upto the gompa. Otherwise, once you cross jaigaon phuentsholling border, you can come here by hiring cabs also which will charge not more than 300 rs.
Scenic beauty of the place is awesome. You can see large landscape of India from the temple and awesome view of river torsa flowing though the Bhutan Hills. People also come for a picnic here but of course in a decent manner. There is a small coffee shop which is a bit costly.
Overall the temple is awesome and ideal for spending one day in leisure.
