Perched at an elevation of 400mt at a distance of 1km from Bhutan Gate is the Karbandi Monastery of Phuentsholing. Local taxis are available to take u there at the rate of approx 400-500 rs. It is beautiful and the long lines of prayer flags dance overhead in the mountain breeze. Peaceful like all other monasteries. A perfect visiting place with family or friends. Timings 7 am to 6 pm.

Awesome place to visit. Best time to visit is late afternoon and before sunset. The panorama of flowing Torsa and India from the hilltop is fabulous. The lawn outside the monastery is beautiful to spend some lieasurely time.

It's superb belongs to Mahayana Buddhism really speak and spun place moving bells.. flowing toorsa river really gives a panoramic view this monastery.. Bhutanese people are free living soft spoken honest and self disciplined.. they r really topper of happiness index one must go inside the monastery n should view bodhi tree n flags. one should not forget to enjoy local dish as well..

Awesome place for sunset. Also gives a panoramic view of the plains of India from the hill of Bhutan. The prayer flags on the sunset hue gives a wonderful backdrop.

Very nice! Calm & clean place. And also a great view of jaigaon town from here. No entry fee. No parking charges. A small restaurant there outside. Should visit.
