Comfy rooms, welcoming owner and staff, satiating food options and an open verandah, not to forget the fireplace in each room.
The room are very nice here. Each room has a bathroom in it, and its own hot water tank for the shower. The food served here on meals is also good. The staff are very helpful.
Very good hospitalityvery clean room..very friendly staff and I found owner kaila is really very impressive person.
If you're looking for a quiet experience in the Bhutanese way this is the place to be; good food and comfortable rooms. No TV (as is the case in Bumthang) but they have free Wi-Fi and draft beer. You can't go wrong staying here.
A great place to stay in Bumthang
We stayed for two nights. The hotel is beside the potato fields which were empty when we visited (March end). The warmer is wood based which requires loading wood every half an hour. So during night the warmer turns off and the room becomes quite chilling. There was no power supply till 10 pm as the electricity board was doing maintenance. The hotel could have provided emergency battery based lights at least in the corridor as it was completely dark. Food was tasty. Initially they wanted us to take the buffet but we insisted on Ala carte and they reluctantly agreed. The price was reasonable. Nothing much to do in bhumtang during march.
Red panda on draught. Cozy and lovely.
