Nature of beauty Soule and peace will be relaxed after came here
EXCELLENT MINDBLOWING ATTRACTION UNBELIEVABLE
A short hike leads to this natural abode of Lord Shiva. The area is filled with waterfalls and a great scenic view. It overlooks the Jayanti river.
It's a wonderful temple at the top of Bhutan hill at indo-Bhutan border, the river Gadadhar flow in between the Indian and Bhutan hills , with excitement tracking site view enjoyment, some volunteers from different organisations come here to set their camps helps the pilgrims by supplying food, water, fast aids ,over all to entering the pugla baba temple is the most furious and creep as the entrance is so narrow that should enter in the cave by crawling ..their is other two caves upper this are bara Mahakal and kali Mata temple, to enter the kali Mata temple by hanging bridge .and entering the bara Mahakal temple is the an excitement body movement and technic .
It's an awesome journey of about one and half hour. The river Jayanti gives the hills an artistic view to the nature. It's totally amazing to see these hills that divided India and Bhutan. There's a temple on hills inside Bhutan, but accessible by all. The total journey is a trekking on mini hills.
A tough trekking way but enjoyable at the end.You have to start from Jayanti Bazar (35 km from Alipurduar) via a beautiful river bed, HAWDA. At HAWDA every year on 25th Dec.to 31st Dec. a NATURE CAMP organising by a mountaineering Club NANDADEBI FOUNDATION in association with BTR, Alipurduar(Court). If you are interested, may contact. I attend 7 times. See some photos.
A tough trek with terrific sl
ope and very slippery during rains and wet weather. Good pair of shoes are necessary while climbing. We went to the top that is bara mahakal caves and it is simply fascinating. The most wonderful fact is during shiva ratri thousands of pilgrims are used to gather in this cave to fulfill their will. This cave temple is famous for its mystic power and natural rather very raw beauty.
Even after an exhausting trek of 2.5 hr When you will reach there near the cave , you will find even it is harder to enter the cave temple because it is having such a narrow passage to enter. But it is a thrill journey for all small adventure seekers. Also it is suggested, if you have any heart related diseases then avoid this visit and you can rather have a visit to chota mahakal near the foothills of jayanti which is very near to jayanti river bed and will be accessible for all ages ..
A tough place to visit. Not right for very young children. But the trek is exhilarating. It is inaccessible during the monsoons. During the dry months one will have to cross the river at various places and the vehicle moves on the river bed to reach the place. From there a trek of about 1km will take one to the lesser Mahakal cave. Thereafter one has to ford a waterfall to reach the original cave of Baba Mahakal. It is a tough climb and not for the weak hearted. But once atop the beauty is mesmerising. It will be worth all the efforts.
Its oswam place there r two mahakal choto makal and baro mahkal essay to go in choto mahakal car rate 300 boro makal 3 k.m far from choto mahakal its treking route there has a bhutan dharmasala rate 30 for night stay
The 5 star rating is not enough for describing the beauty of this place. Its an amazing experience in mahakal temple. The calm and cool environment makes everyone's mind spiritual. Especially riverry lane looks awesome. The beauty of that place can't be described in words.
It's an awesome journey of about one and half hour. The river Jayanti gives the hills an artistic view to the nature. It's totally amazing to see these hills that divided India and Bhutan.
Nice experience of climbing. After a huge effort u will get Mahakal cave. Avoid the place during monsoon.

It's a beautiful trek route from Jayanti which leads you to the Mahakal Temple. It's open all he year round except in Monsoon when it's not accessible.
Truly a life time trekking experience.
Splendid.
This is a holy place of 'mahakal' (lord Shiva),situated in the middle of hilly dense forest, near BUXA TIGER RESERVE. It's a great tracking area for visitors who loves the ultimate natural beauty at it's best.
