The hotel is located in the centre of the city right next to the clock tower. The staff is friendly and welcoming but the restaurant food was not great. If you don't have a meal plan then I suggest you not to dine in their restaurant. We stayed at the hotel for 2 days and on the second day our intercom stopped working. We informed the staff but they said that the intercom won't work up until the next day which was quite a pain. We went to explore the city and returned to the hotel at 10 in the night only to find that the lights of the reception and those in the corridor we're off and it was pitch black. It's a nice hotel but there are some changes need to be made in their system.

The hotel beat my expectations from a 3 star. Rooms, service, restaurant, food, staff communication etc were good! In addition, it's located well in the middle of the city.

We love Bhutan and had very pleasant ,
stay in hotel tower, a modern clean .and well eqwiped hotel in Thimpu.

Spent three nights at Thimphu Towers, even got upgraded to a corner room overlooking the Clock Tower Square the last two nights. Delightful breeze through the windows, overlooking the mountains and the morning sunrise. The owner, Tshering Wangmo, kindly invited me to share a cup of tea with her in the lobby after a busy day. This was my second trip to Bhutan and I will certainly stay here again when I return next year.

I can't say enough good things about this place! Tshering, the owner, runs a tight ship ensuring the staff provide the highest level of customer care. And it shows. The staff are courteous, knowledable and excellent - they accommodate your demands with a smile. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. This is also one of the few environmentally conscious hotels in Thimphu. Located in the heart of Thimphu, it is accessible to shops and restaurants. Would recommend this hotel if you want a place that is clean and reasonably priced. No other place compares.

Centrally located, good rooms for our budget. Amazing view of the clock tower from our room. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Food was satisfactory ( except the ema datshi which is traditionally very very spicy)

Just loved the royalty of the hotel. Breakfast is very nice. On time room service. Nice view of 12 meters Buddha at the Buddha point from the window.

My experience in Bhutan was amazing, one the main reasons being the excellent hospitality at Hotel Thimpu tower. The hotel manager makes every effort to make tourists like us, feel at home. She is very sweet. This hotel is centrally located, the view from this hotel is just incredible ! The rooms are spacious and well maintained. Delicious food !
Next time I visit Bhutan, I would love to stay in this hotel.
