The location of the hotel is in central part and is near to the market place. As compared to the facilities provided, the price is a little on the higher side. For instance, a twin bedroom will cost you around Rs 1800 and family room costs around Rs 2100. But it lacks some of the basic facilities, such as intercom. The room in which I resided, the geyser was not working, however they did provide me bucket of hot water. The behavior of the staff was good and food was also ok. The hotel generally remains booked during the peak season, which probably starts from March-April.
Awesome staff & the owner goes extra mile to meet the needs
Great budget accommodation with awesome views!!! From the window you can see not only paro zong but also the beautiful valley and the mountains. At night the views become more amazing.
Accommodation: moderate sized rooms with attached bathroom. The rooms are well decorated and the wash rooms are neat and clean. The wash room has got running hot water. The hotel building has four floors in all. There is a restaurant and bar located on the ground floor of the hotel. The staffs are very friendly and helpful.
A good budget hotel to stay. You will be able to see the Ta Dzong from the front and from the back you will be able to see the beautiful Paro Valley. Only problem we faced is there was a little rat in the room. The support staffs and the owner was really great and cordial.
Gd hotel bt needs some hyegine to be maintained.the buffet needs some upgradation too
Located in the centre of the market area surrounding the natural beauty, the place is worth going for. To comment about the hotel, though the room are not that big but cozy and clean. The bathroom gets bathtub which I like the most with the facility of gyser. The restaurant foods are costly but it depends if one wants to have inside the restaurant or explore the food outlets outside.
Celebrated my 21st b'day here. The hotel is nice and so was the room service. And for the first time in Bhutan, the Indian dishes seemed Indian here.
Clean, Elegant & VFM are the three words comes to my mind when thinking about Hotel Phunsum. We had stayed here for 3 night’s and had a very good experience. You’d get a nice view of the Paro Valley if you opt for rooms in backside of the hotel otherwise you’ll enjoy the night view of Paro Dzong if you opt for the front view rooms. Either way you’ll gain something.
The rooms are good also the room service. The food served here is better than most of the high end restaurants around. The best part is you can order food to your along with alcohol(which is quite cheap)
The perfect value for money place!
