This is one of the must visit places near Thimphu. It's one of the ancient monasteries of Bhutan which is still in use. There is no restrictions on photography and it is pretty quite and idyllic in nature. The old wood stairs still bear the signature of a bygone time. The whole place is neat and clean and it also houses some exquisite 12th century artworks which are presently maintained by UNESCO
