This is a wonderful marina in a wonderful location. The marina's grounds are all new. New docks, new bath house, new office, new restaurant, new pool, new everything. Like anything that is new, it is nice. It was nice to have all the palm trees and flowers on the grounds. The pool is fabulous. It all looks just as one would like every marina to look.

Of course Spanish Wells is a great place to hang out when not scuba diving on the reef north of the town.the Devil's Backbone. Actually not as difficult to navigate through as the chart books would have you believe. I did it, first time out, no problem. If you're going to Harbor Island, the water there gets a bit shallow. And the anchorage at Royal Island is a great, free alternative. We went back and forth between the anchorage and the marina several times while we were in Spanish Wells. The home made coconut breads at the grocery store, which is very close to the marina, is great. The availability of rental golf carts makes this island a great place to get around. Don't miss the swimming hole on the west side of the marina cut.

Back to the marina.there were a few negativesthe laundry facility is only open until 5pm, two washing machines and two dryersone dryer doesn't work. Laundry costs $5/machine/load. Not much marina staff around. Water is typically expensive.

Excellent, safe marina. Clean and well managed by Dockmaster, Leroy Kelly. Wrecker's Restaurant has well trained staff and great food.

We stayed at the marina, but also rented one of their cottages for three nights just to get off he boat a few days. We love this marina and Wreckers is a great mix of traveling boaters, tourists and locals. You can rent golf carts to tour Spanish Wells, right at the office. We'll be back!

Yacht Haven was newish, rebuilt after hurricane damage I was told. Clean, nice layout. Would have gone for 5 stars but there was no 'air conditioned' space to escape to, and it was really hot in late May during both our times there. The attached restaurant was too expensive.

Modern marina and restaurant. New renovations and expansion 2016. Restaurant now has Starbucks coffee.
