  Great blackland coppice habitat with lots of local and migratory bird species. With more than 100 sinkholes this National Park is riddled with geological treasures such as fossilized burrowing shrimp holes and conch shells embedded in cave walls. A must see ! Tons of native plants and endemics.

  My friends and i were in the Bahamas and tried to visit multiple times. The first time was on Monday at 2 pm and it was closed when it was supposed to be open. We tried calling the next time and the person said they would be open at 11 am. We showed up at 1120 and again no one was there. Completely dissatisfied!!!!!

  Really cool, Kristoff was friendly and we went on a self-guided tour through the sinkholes. Lots of lizards, birds, a few mud daubers, and spider webs and spiders, but not too many for this arachnophobe! We were lucky enough to see what I think was a golden orb weaver - near the end of the hike, off a boardwalk sitting above a sinkhole, in the middle of a cluster of many webs. Beautiful and a little terrifying. :)

  $5 entrance fee!
  Really cool park! Very peaceful and interesting. Easy to walk around and lots of wildlife. Christoff was very friendly and had answers to all of our questions. We missed the yellow orb weaver spiders by a couple weeks, probably for the best haha.
  Go if you are in Nassau, great way to separate from the rest of the city.
