Only quality beer we have found in our few days in Nassau / Baha Mar. Beyond that, the staff were great and we had a good time there. An oasis in a sea of crappy dive bars and tourist shops.

It took a long time to even get menus and we had to flag our server down every time we needed anything because she would never come check on us. Our food came out at different times (mine first and it still took 20ish minutes, then another 10 for my friends.) When her food came it was wrong, AND they said we had to pay for it because we had touched it. It took another 15-20 minutes to get our bill correct and that was after we argued with our server about the wrong order. I would not go back and don't suggest it to anyone. The only good thing here was free WiFi.

Horrible experience. Came in and sat down, waited At least 10-15 minutes before the waitress acknowledged us. Ordered chicken tenders and mozzarella sticks. My friends chicken tenders came out around 25 min after we ordered(which was fine)..my mozarella sticks never came. Instead, 10 minutes after getting the first order my food came..it was hush puppies. We broke one apart thinking maybe they do cheese sticks differently down here and saw it was hush puppies. Tried getting our waitresses attention for another 10-15 minutes before finally getting up and getting her attention. She brought us our bill and I didn’t pay attention that she had charged me for the cheese sticks. I told her I shouldn’t have to pay for something I didn’t get and wanted a refund. She comes back and tells my friend and I that they had to charge us! Sorry but no..I said I am not paying for your mistake and something I didn’t eat. She said the manager was busy and it would be a few before she could get our money and did we just want beer! At this point we were both so angry. I finally got my money back. I will never go back there and do not recommend it. To top it off the place wasn’t that busy. The waitress seemed like she had no idea how to do her job either. So frustrating.

Good place to take a group of friends; went there to watch the Mayweather fight. The wings were delicious, the waitresses were friendly. Overall cool ambiance.

Great beers, cool atmosphere. We had a brewery tour with a very enthusiastic and fun tour guide dressed as a pirate. If you like craft beer or pirates I cannot recommend it enough.

Wife and I had heard about this place from a friend so we decided to go. Ordered the Citra ale and the gold and haze, both were very good. My wife ordered a burger and I order the pulled pork sandwich, after about 20 minutes my wife got her burger and I was informed that they were out of pulled pork. I had to wait about 15 minutes more to get my food at which point my wife was done her meal. The food was good as was the beer, but waiting for my food only to be told they were out and then having to wait longer soured the experience.

burgers delicious, beer fantastic, service great. We had a mishap where they didn't realize they were out of something and I got my food 15 minutes before my husband saw his. But they made things right for us and everything was tasty. Will definitely be back!!

Very cool place that is a perfect break from the busy streets of Nassau. Craft beer and regular beer selections. Their craft beer isnt the best I've had, but the atmosphere makes up for it. Great nar staff and super clean restrooms for customers. Brewery is on site so tours are available.

It is hard to find good beer in the Caribbean. However, Pirate Republic is a great option. It usually has about five beers on tap and it is a nice change from the terrible lagers throughout the Caribbean. The staff is friendly and there is a cheese guy wearing a pirate outfit out front. We like going there early just after the cruise ships get in. It's right on the first street there so it's just a short walk. The food is pub food that rivals what you would see at any craft beer pub on the mainland.

Friendly place with good beer. The taps were broken on the day of my visit, but the wheat ale (from a can) was light and refreshing. Nice place to sit and chill after a hot walk through the streets of downtown Nassau.

Spent 3 hours here. Fun, friendly staff. Had some of every type of beer. A good range to satisfy my spouse's taste for lighter ipa to my lean toward the darker stout. Also took the tour which was interesting and Informative. Tour includes info about the artwork upstairs.
