This is a beautiful place to stay! Enjoyed delicious and fun meals at Tippy's with an entertaining band one night. Walks on the beach are spectacular. The rooms were super clean and kitchen is fully equipped with everything one needs including a blender. The pool area is lovely, peaceful and serene. I highly recommend Pineapple Fields.

Nice clean condos, individually owned so they all are somewhat different. We loved the grounds and the pool, but disappointed that they are not very close to the beach, which is across the street. No view of the water.

Most people would love to have an ocean view, and stay close to the beach. The Pineapple Fields is a set of 8 buildings. Most of them have no view of the ocean at all, as there are large palm and other trees. See pictures. Balcony view is only of palm trees - no ocean view. So that is disappointing. It did not feel like a resort in Bahamas.

The beach view photo given on website is the beach, not a real picture of or from the resort.

Secondly, there is a 5 min walk to the beach, so if you want to enjoy the beach, you have to carry your beach chairs and items back and forth. There are no rentals on the beach, so it becomes a big hassle to carry food, towels, chairs, or clean up after.

Restaurant was across the road. So it is also a walk across the road. No breakfast options.

There is no private beach, or any beach access directly from the property. You have to walk across a road to the restaurant, and then to the beach.

Each room in the property is owned by separate people (on timeshare / ownership). So beware of reviews by people who stay there and may also be owners.

For spending that kind of money ($250 or more per night), it is a LOT MORE worth taking a cottage ON THE BEACH. We used airbnb and stayed AT another place at the beach for 5 days and it was the best vacation. We got everything, including a full view and full access to the ocean. Please see my review of that place - Purple Papaya (for upto 3) and the pictures. Other similar properties also have more space (2-3 bedrooms) and are ON the beach.

#Eleutheran #Bahamian local response: "This hotel is very private and secluded almost hidden behind an array of beautiful garden vies of native plants and vegetation and depending on what cottage you are staying in you would be able to enjoy panoramic ocean views The property is clean and easy to navigate with close parking to your room. needless to mention or comment on the interior and decor of the property island style theme is eclectic and inviting you would definitely appreciate your stay here. one of my favorite places to stay on Eleuthera outside of my home. 10/10 #HighlyRecommended

Great, clean condos seconds from the beach and Tippy's. Beautiful garden pool for when you are tired of the salt water. The staff was very friendly and accommodating as well.

Nice condos, some with a view. Tippys is absolutely great, if pricy, across the street. Don't miss fresh fruit and pastries from the bakery down the road.

Very relaxing place, just a couple of minutes from one of the best beaches on Eleuthera; apartments are nice, but just a few have views on the ocean. The restaurant across the road, Tippy's, is absolutely excellent. Need to hire a car if you plan to say here.
