  The reef is gorgeous, the people are friendly and helpful. Do mind the costs (for example, rental of an umbrella isn't included in the all-inclusive price). But, none of the prices are outrageous.
  
  We saw a turtle, a ray, and a barracuda, and heard that others saw a lobster.
  
  They're doing a great job of taking care of the natural reef and preparing for the future by putting in some artificial beds for more to grow on. I was impressed.

  I purchased an all inclusive package and didn't really get everything I paid for. Most of the staff was very nice. Our driver was wonderful.

  Good snorkeling beach. They provide snorkel gear but you should bring your own, they are one size fits all. Food was ok. Tour of western heritage was not good. Left window of bus was cloudy and could not see much. Bus stoped at a few places but they were not very pretty. Make sure you are in good shape.

  Proof that pirates still exist! I'm joking! Paradise cove/ deadmans reef nice place to chill with the fishes. It was a great experience our cruise stopped at cruise port at freeport which is in an industrial area and we grabbed a cab for $20 per person round trip (30min each way/ make sure you arrange a time for your cabby to pick you up! ) It was a snorkle heaven. Turbulent waters near shore but crystal clear by the reef! Saw tons of fish and varieties of corrals that I have never seen before (I've snorkled in Turkey, Peru, Mexico, Hawaii, Florida and now the Bahamas). The Resort is ample we didn't suffer in any way. Resort fee $4 a person, snorkel gear $20 per person. Nice beach great experience over all. I prefered the right side to the leftside for snorkeling. It gets deeper quicker and clearer water faster. Enjoy!

  We went on a day with choppy sea and didn't see as much as I think you would on a calm day; friendly staff but nothing special really when you come to think of how it's 40 bucks for a bit of snorkelling and our hotel's beach was nicer. We'll try a snorkel boat next time (had very good experience with that previously in Puerto Rico).

  Great beach for relaxing and snorkeling. You can rent snorkel gear, chairs and loungers. Small bar and snack bar on premises. Arrive early to beat the crowds for a prime beach spot and viewing the aquatic life on Deadman's Reef. Recommend: Sands Beer (Freeport's own brewery)

  We went here twice. The first time we went was high tide and it was wonderful. The second time the tide was out and it was not fun, and the water wasn't clear anymore.
  I suggest calling and finding out when high tide is and go then. We saw sea turtles, sting rays, and tons of fish in their fish houses. It was neat.
