My favorite beach in Grand Bahama! It was so beautiful and the water was shallow. A small shark swam up to my friends and I (maybe a reef shark? I'm not sure). I want to go back!
Nice beach that wasn't very busyat least when we were there. Wasn't much for snorkeling. Maybe we were in the wrong spot.
Soft sand, unmolested by resorts and tourist
Absolutely beautiful beach
Gold Rock Beach is incredible. The sand is perfect, the marine life is abundant, and the water is clear and blue. The beach is clean and it wasn't crowded the day we visited.
This beach can be narrow when the tide is high (i.e. not a lot of beach between the ocean water and regular land) but it is more than enough even then and is compensated for by its length - it's a very long stretch). That said, it is a beautiful beach, almost completely natural since there are no resorts around it. And I can't get over that delightful blue ocean color. All in all, a pristine, uncrowded, delightful beach!
