We arrived at 7pm (as advised by our hotel in order to "check some good food and local culture"), but we were served only by 21:30 As we were starving, we swallowed the food immediately. It was ok (probably even good if there was less waiting), but we expected much much more after so much time waiting!

Amazing staff, stiff drinks, good prices, and excellent food.
Very friendly staff. They are happy to tell you about life on the island. Very interesting! We had the best conch fritters we have ever had. And very affordable. You get a nice plate of conch fritters (tempura style) for around $6. We also had coconut fried grouper which was outstanding. Service was quick (which is not always our experience on this island). I don't understand people who come to the Bahamas and don't go experience these kind of places at least once. These kind of places, these seafood shacks, are what make the Bahamas such a great destination. Great Bahamian food at good prices.

Wonderful customer service. Very friendly staff. Food was amazingly delicious. My only issue would be it's cash only, which we were not ready for. But otherwise, highly recommended. AND it's open Sunday! !!

I ate at the place which was closest to the road. I believe it's call Da Out Deck. Good quality food, portions were good and best of all this is where all the locals get food. They said hello as I walked in and everyone was friendly. This is exactly a 5 minute walk from Augusta Bay hotel. There's no sidewalks but good room to walk. There's some scattered glass and holes along the walk so it's best to wear sneakers and do the walk during the day.

I love all the options for eateries in this little cove. Find a busy place full of Bahamians and find a Bahamian dish. You must also take a walk around to find the Conch Salad place cracking open fresh conch, the conch graveyard, and check out the old rusted boats sitting in the water off shore.

Shirley's! Fish Fry is a term for a group of seafood shacks. We picked Shirley's on a recommendation. Me and my freind both had the Steamed/Fried Red Snapper. This plate is a full fish, fried light with seasoning. Absolutely delicious. Mac n cheese is local style. It was just ok. Slaw was tasty. The fish is the star of this show! Highly recommend!
