Beautiful spot, love Great Exuma, especially this area (away from Georgetown crowd). Captain lounge is nice, but bathrooms/laundry area need work and some deep cleaning.

Very nice, well protected marina with good docks, with water, power and garbage bin on each. Staff was very helpful and courteous and the marina building very nice with a good sized WiFi lounge although there was little or no connection on the docks. An upgrade needed in the laundry/showers/washrooms. Only 1 dryer of 3 was working and 3 washers, and the showers and washrooms grungy and old.

The marina is well protected but entering from the sea can be tricky when there is rough surf from the east. The staff is friendly and helpful but appears to be under staffed for this size marina. The bar is presently unattended but you can BYOB. There's a restaurant and bar at the nearby condos. You can also buy day passes at the Sandals Resort. Good walking/ jogging trail along the golf course. Liquor store across from marina entrance. No nearby grocery store. Need to rent a car or call a taxi to shop.

In some ways this is a very nice marina - first rate, even. In other ways not so much. It has well built floating docks and is well protected from almost any direction. Yet the boats all move around rapidly back and forth. I think it's because the basin was carved out of stone with vertical walls. Any surge that makes it's way in reflects off the walls and bounces around. It needs sloping edges - like a beach.
The service was almost good but they seem to be understaffed and the dock hands lack commitment. After pumping our fuel the lone dock hand walked off without a word even though he knew we would need help moving from the fuel dock to our slip. After scouting around, we eventually found a fellow boater to help us. They also seem to ignore most radio calls. And their phones don't work - you just get a weird busy signal.
The laundry is free and has fancy washers and dryers. But half of them don't work and the ones that do, work poorly. One washer kept quiting after 5 minutes. One dryer had a broken piece inside that snagged clothes and twisted them up in a knot. It broke a strap on a dress.
The showers were once very nice but they are now a bit run down. A lock broke and trapped me inside one. They had to hammer and chisel the door frame apart to get me out.
Also be forewarned: they automatically add a 10% gratuity to the bill.

Should be a fabulous venue. Reasonable dock rate for this area at 2.25/ft. The water is good quality ($.42/gal) and free laundry is fabulous. Wifi to the dock was weak, but their sailors lounge is lovely and will have better signal I’m sure.

Convenience store was not (convenient?) operating. Staff will drive patrons to the nearby liquor store (700) to restock as there is no alcohol for sale (bar) at the marina. The restaurants and bars are all within Sandals which is an all-inclusive resort. I think a 2 hour pass for lunch is about $60/person.

Odd that there’s no hand wash in the bathrooms.

Nice Marina to stay for a few days. Inexpensive to dock if you aren't needing electricity or water hookup. .50/foot. Free showers and laundry was a huge benefit. The wifi wasn't working when we were there and there isn't any place to get provisions close by. Only 1 restaurant within walking distance. They were doing a lot of repairs to the building when we were there and things are looking nice. Coffee in the marina office but not till after 8 am. Tricky to get in if swells are big, and not much security but we'd definitely stay here again.
