We asked the locals to suggest a spot for us to eat. Fish Fry was the answer we were given. It's a bit confusing once you get there because there's more than one Fish Fry. Tried the conch and the grouper. Both were ok. I think I was expecting something with a little more of a 'wow' factor. If we're ever in the area again I'd try a different place to eat.

Good service, friendly staff, it has a cozy "down-home" feel and the food is nice.

Went here on a whim with my wife and sister with an effort to get some authentic Bahamian food, and boy did we.
True, when you ask the locals for the best food in town they will tell you the "fish fry", however when you hit this strip there are a few places with that title, so ultimately its like "the nautical mile" in Freeport, NY.
you hear the title "fish fry" or "nautical mile" thinking its a place but in reality its a strip of multiple restaurants.
turns out this place is actually not the "go to" fish fry, however i cant see why its not. the people were very friendly and the food was phi-nominal, 10/10. we got 2 large platters of (lobster, fried fish, conch, and shrimps + fried plantons and rice, 4 beers and 2 grapefruit sodas (international only) for around $100.00 US.
    cant beat that.
the view is amazing, we saw a stingray jump out of the water rite by where we were sitting.
Loved the food! Highly recommend, will definitely come back next time im in Nassau.

For travelers in the area, avoid this place unless you have lots of time on your hands. Food was decent, what we got of it. Meals came out scattered and my wife and another friend never got their meal at all. It was built up as a great local spot. Not so much.

Tourist trap, we were looking for some local fresh seafood and were told by a tour guide to come to the area and look for a place called "Fish Fry," but there are about six places with the same name. Walking down the beach we were stopped by one of their recruiters to walk us to this particular location. When we arrived the place was empty except for one table and two people sitting on the front porch. The people at the porch were talking the place up, some random man came out of nowhere and started talking the place up as we looked over the menu, all while the man who walked us to the location was talking it up. It all came off as a huge desperate sales pitch tourist scheme. The prices were horrendous for Nassau, which is a very under-developed country outside of Paradise Island. If the locals don't eat somewhere then you know it's probably not an outstanding place to eat. We left and ate at a shack on the beach instead.
