Yo I love this place very affordable and safe and the host was a awesome person .. only reason I would come back to the Bahamas ..is to stay there ..
This is not a hotel, but rather a Home rented out as a hotel Air BNB style. My room has a broken window, no air-conditioning, and was generally in need of substantial overhaul. The bathroom was antiquidated with no towels or soap so bring your own.
Dirtest place on earth and all they got to do is simply clean the building and paint it, its a nice building but boy is it dirty and low water pressure too no city water in the day the place is on a hill, fair rate a quarter star.
I don't understand the complaints. If you want to pay for the Hilton, then pay for the Hilton. This place is well located, inexpensive, clean and safe (inside at least). This is a good place for people who enjoy staying in the communities they visit. It's not a good place for people looking for a resort.
The only advantage of this inn is the relative proximity to town.
Other than that, it is a terrible place to stay.
The nightmare is the owner who is extremely rude and doesn't know how to speak to guests, sounding as if he were speaking to his subordinates. No greetings, no "thank you", no "please", always uttering unnecessarily many words in a commanding tone. Always naked, scattering his sweat here and there, including the guest's document. So disgusting.
He also grumbled that he did not know Agoda that I booked this accommodation through. "What the hell is that! I don't know Agoda!" It's totally none of my business, and he is not supposed to complain about it to guests.
Beware that guest rooms have no AC. The common space does, but the owner orders guests to keep it off. Note: he orders, not asks/requests.
The two assistant ladies were very nice and helpful but they were there temporarily for the summer holiday and are already back in their respective home countries in Europe.
Therefore, I would never come back nor recommend this place to anyone.
I seldom post negative reviews, but this is really an exception.
