This is a private island owned by Royal Caribbean. Construction is still on-going, and there is not yet a dock for the ship. Dispite that the island was lots of fun with lots of activities, food, and drinks. There is even a floating bar that you can wade out to. Great time, only reason it is missing a star is due to the construction.

What a beautiful private island. All the staff is just as friendly as they are on the ship. Take the time to walk the island. Then swim with the fishes. The local iguanas were pretty chill.

Great Place , slightly upset our Royal Carribean Cruise consultant said we could bring our dji mavic but then lifeguards said if security sees it they would take it. We went through all the trouble to get it on the boat and then couldn't use it.

Beautiful little island, only accessible while cruising with Royal Caribbean. There are chairs, umbrellas, drinks and food offered here. Beautiful white sand beach and crystal blue water a guarantee

Private island for Royal Caribbean. Water is Crystal clear and warm as bathwater, sand is really hot. Bring cash they don't accept card or boarding pass card at stalls and food.

We were traveling with 4 senior citizens so we rented a Beach Bungalow on South Beach. This worked out great. It was more quiet and food was brought out to us.

The mini straw market was nice too.

CocoCay was incredible. Don't worry about purchasing the nature tour. We didn't feel that it added to the experience. The snorkeling was great, though.

This was a very nice, relaxing and fun island. There was a ton of fun stuff to do, lots of space for everyone to spread out and enjoy everything. I definitely wouldn't mind coming back here.

This place has ALOT of potential, it's beautiful and you do feel that seclusion you want from a private island. When the tide goes out you find all sorts of sea life on the beach to explore. You can walk a couple football fields out toward the ocean in the knee deep blue shallows. Great drinks, foods ok.. The staff that transports you to beds or cabanas could use some training though.

Very beautiful and relaxing! Definitely can tell that it's not super authentic, but it was a nice. I'd recommend walking to the southern side of the island to get away from the crowd though.

Coco Cay is one of the better private cruise islands I've been to. There was plenty of chairs along the beach and lots of great activities. The water slide was our favorite. We were surprised to find just a huge inflatable slide and a worker with a garden hose, but it turned out to be a really fun slide. The water playground was fun too, but many of the floats were completely unusable due to bird waste. My biggest complaints would be the need to tender, which is always a hassle, and the fact that many places needed a good cleaning to remove bird waste that'd clearly been there a while.

Bad ass. No amount of words can describe how fun it was on that island. Go to royal carriebean. And find out the great boats they have. Flogging Molly salty dog cruise was the best.

Pretty to look at beaches, some parts of the island felt very man-made, sand wasn't actually sand, more like clay and kind of muddy, some other parts are not that bad.
I know this is a personal preference, but I do like the beach to have a bit of movement and waves, not to be a pool with sand.
So the water was static and not as clear as I was expecting, I am sure some other areas of this island are better for some other activities like snorkeling and such, but the actual beach was a bit of a let down for me.

Royal Caribbean claims it to be their private island and I was excited to experience the wilderness of it far from the influence of human activity. But to make the cruisers stay pleasant Royal did a lot of 'development' of the island and if you are expecting to enjoy the island in it's pristine form then you should try looking at a different place. The Island has the usual water sports and I did see some stingray's coming close into the artificial lagoon's. In a nutshell, a nice place to visit once.
