  Don’t miss this opportunity! We had the pleasure of spending two half-day charters with Jody (Captain Kid). Day 1 was an Eleuthera tour where we learned some Bahamian history and saw the beauty of (and jumped into!) Saphire Blue Hole, saw Preachers Cave, were amazed by the Glass Window bridge, relaxed in Queens Bath, and explored Hatchet Bay Cave. On our second half-day charter we were on the water, spotting sea life (turtles, sand dollars, starfish, huge schools of fish, and dolphins), snorkeling, and feeding the pigs. Jody clearly enjoys what he does and aims to give you a top notch Bahamian adventure. These were experiences not to be missed, and we built family memories that will last a lifetime! Thank you, Jody!

  We fished and snorkeled with Capt. Kid and Son Charters twice while vacationing in Spanish Wells. We saw sea turtles, sharks, barracuda as well as other colorful tropical fish. Jody is a life-long resident of Spanish Wells who has lots of local knowledge that can't be beat. I really liked the flexibility in trip planning so we could pick what we wanted to do. I also really appreciated the extra attention given to the less-strong swimmer in our group. Snorkeling at the ship wreck was awesome! We'll be back to . Thanks guys!

  What a great day out on the water. We went snorkeling, had lunch on an island, searched for sand dollars and shells, and got to meet some swimming Bahama pigs. Jody was a great host. A Lifetime memories!

  Jody and Tara were awesome guides! They gave us a choice of places we could go and customized our trip to us. They also gave us a lot of fun and interesting stories of their experiences living on Spanish Wells. We were able to touch Star Fish and Sea Biscuits, and collect Sand Dollars and shells. They took us to snorkle on a large reef, and over a ship wreck. We were able to see all types of ocean life - Green and Loggerhead turtles, Barracuda, Nurse Sharks, Grouper, Tropical fish, etc. We highly recommend using Jody as your guide!

  We booked Capt Kid & Son about 2 months prior to our vacation. Jody touched base with us both before and after we arrived and then arranged a meeting to personal our charter. We ended up booking him for 3 days and made wonderful memories! We highly recommend the lobster BBQ, Jody and his wife, Tara, will make a lunch of a lifetime.
  We visits nearby islands and ship wrecks for snorkeling and shelling - the pigs are also a very fun visit!
  A charter with Capt Kid is a MUST if you stay on beautiful Spanish Wells!

  The day out on the boat with Captain Kid (Jody) was the highlight of our vacation! We went to Sand Dollar Island and found loads of sand dollars. Then we went to Whale Point and saw dozens of sea turtles. We slowly cruised in a lagoon while a pod of dolphins swam and jumped right beside the boat. Then we went to a little island where Jody turned on music and little pigs came running out to be fed when they heard it. They were so cute! Jody gave us so much information on Spanish Wells and the surrounding area that we wouldn't have gotten without this trip. We definitely plan on returning to Spanish Wells and a trip with Capt. Kid & Son Charters is a must!

  "OH MY GOODNESS" I cannot tell you enough how amazing Captain Kid & Son Charters was. First of all the the boat is perfect. He will bring you in shallow waters if you want to look for starfish and sea turtles. If you want to go deep water it can handle the rough seas if they come up. There is plenty of room for your Goombay Sodas or Kalik beer. There is plenty of seating up in front and great room next to the captain. What I really enjoyed was the snorkeling trip to Egg Island and the nearby wreck. My father, who is 70, was able to easily use the built in ladder to get out of the water and into the boat. This made is a very stress free snorkeling experience. Lastly, the family that runs this operation is top notch. I wish I could have put 20 stars in the review. You are not just booking a captain and his boat, with Capt. Kid & Son Charters you are getting a TRUE Bahamian experience.
