Good
Unfortunately our experience was less than stellar and not commensurate with the prices. Before we arrived, I had made a reservation and annotated that it was our anniversary. We went their for our anniversary (August 27, 2015) for a fairly early dinner, 6:30pm. We had, for an appetizer, the foie gras, my wife ordered the Mahi Mahi and I ordered the duck entrée and a bottle of pinot to share. We also ordered celebratory desserts, I've been lucky to have better prepared foie gras closer to home, the duck was overcooked, dry and very tough. There was a nice couple next to us that was celebrating their anniversary, complete with complementary dessert, of which we were not afforded the samedisappointing, but not expected either. Probably the most disappointing was my honesty when we received the bill. We had noticed that none of the items that we had ordered, except for the wine, were correct (and in our favor in terms of pricing). I called the waiter over to let him know of the mistake. They brought back the corrected bill, which was an increase of $50, with no apology or comp of anything. I would expect that, at those prices, the service would be much better and at least come along with an apology.
The best French restaurant I've ever been toand I've been to Paris. Expensive but worth it for the experience. YOLO!!
Fair warning! Best to check out the extraordinary prices on the menu before planning an evening.. we went to the original place before it was part of Atlantis. that was special!
