The beach entrance is not maintained. The beach itself is clean due to the resorts nearbyI would recommend going to this beach

The people constantly harass you to buy their wares. I understand they need to make a living but no means no. We went here to save money. Next time, I will definitely pay for the private beach excursion to avoid the rif-raf. Most of the locals were fine and left you alone, once you bought something, but others seemed very shady. We were worried to get too far from out beach bags.

Pros: The color of the water is beautiful and the access to street is easy. Water temperature is good evening during winter.

Cons: local services is terrible. People trying to get you to rent chairs, parasols and jetskis are bunch of scammers. The jetski ones are of the worst kind. Two of them there almost brawling due to one doing better negotiating than the other. They promise you extra time (35 min), give you less (25 min) the usual (30 min), then when you arrive then complain they claim they never promised any extra time and also pretend that someone else was renting their jetski in their name. Bunch of scammers.

A beautiful beach with amazing views. Only downside, the entrance is dirty and lots of local people trying to sell stuff. Area could be better kept. However the beach is amazing. On windy days there are beautiful waves.

It is a real paradise. The best sea ever. When you enter the beach you have to go to the right up to the reef and you fill see lots of fishes and the reef.

We ended up here after porting in Nassau aboard the Norwegian Escape. I was interested in snorkeling and paid $30 to go down to the far, far end of the beach. It was pathetic. The few fish came around when our "guide" threw out some white bread for them. The coral was nearly all gone. Compared to earlier in the week in the British Virgin Islands, it was sad.

My wife spent the day over on the "main part" of Cabbage Beach drinking $20 all-you-can-drink Mai Tais. She had a blast. But the hustlers on the beach were a bit much. I would not come back here, but rather seek out a more secluded beach.

I loved cabbage beach. The local hustle was in full force renting beach lounges, unlimited coconut drinks, sea shells, bracelets, hair braidingetc But I loved it! The water was wonderful and the people were warm!

This beach was completely different then the one we went to in Freeport. The water was calm and smooth. Here in Nassau. Well at least at this beach. We had waves. I mean big waves. My nephews had a blast. It was well worth the walk. By the way, I recommend you take a cab instead of the ferry boat. But we would not had enjoy the history they shared with us as we made our way to the dock.
As for me in my group. I loved the walk. It was my first time visitng. I got to uses all my senses as we made our way to the beach.
Being on a cruise, Carnival Sensation. We had to make out time well worth it. I say it was even better than I could have dreamed.
