Corner bakery short walk from harbor.
Local sandwiches and terrific baked goods.
Take away orders take a few minutes so be prepared to wait. But that’s only because they are made fresh. Worth the wait.
Take away packaging very large plastic boxes. Tip - bring your own zip lock bag or plastic container as well as shopping bag and ask them use put your goods in it. This will cut down on plastic garbage on the island.
The best way to start any day is with doughnuts from Arthur’s! Try the coconut French toast, breakfast sandwich, and make sure to grab a loaf of bread to go for lunch. The cinnamon raisin bread makes amazing french toast at home too. Just don’t grab the last coconut danish, it’s reserved for me. :)
Superb sticky buns! Very delicious but not overly sweet, and a hefty portion at that. (Also, very reasonable prices! Under $3 for a good dessert)
Fantastic little bakery! Great pastries and great coffee. Nice place to relax and have a cup of coffee with friends. Really friendly people. Can get busy though on weekends.
Great food great people
Stop in for a cup of coffee and a freshly baked breakfast bun. Robert Arthur and his bakers have what you want in the morning.
Fresh baked goods and great place to meet the locals.
A 30 plus year resident with tons of island information and great stories. A must stop while you are on the island.
