Stumbled upon this place just walking around on my first time in Rio and it blew my mind. The decor is cute as hell and the food was very delicious. I ordered the Duck Rice and the flavors were 🤯. Definitely recommend and will visit again.

A kind of Moroccan/Indian inspired restaurant with great cocktails. The service here is very good and they speak English as well. The food was great and interesting combinations. They have special cocktails which tasted great, so all in all a big recommendation from me.

Fantastic. Our table shared multiple dishes and everything was 5 stars. The chicken curry was one of the best dishes I’ve ever eaten and the duck rice was fought over by our table.

Some of the best food I’ve eaten anywhere in the world, do not pass up this small place. Our group sat upstairs where you remove your shoes and sit on low cushions which was a great vibe.

The mojito pitcher was a perfect mix and the wine selection was reasonably priced and well chosen.

Amazing food and decor. I can’t forget the taste of the coconut fish dish which I had. Prices are well worth it for the location, ambience and of course the taste! Great cocktails too.

Zaza Bistro is a nice upscale and relaxed suit for bunch or dinner.

They cocktails are STRONG and the food is rich and fresh.

I would recommend the Organic Curry Chicken! It was AMAZING til the last bite. Try to make a reservation before going.

    It's expensive by Brazilian standards.

Elegant preparations combined with a casual yet lively scene. The duck rice sausage, shredded lamb, and organic chicken curry were all delicious. Opt for the cocktails if you can and get there early to sit outside.

Nice place with friendly staff but soso food. Mi wife ordered the curry chicken, which was acceptable but low on the protein side. My beef Bourguignon was a good portion but quality of the meat was more suited for a lesser dish. The taste and the potatoes were nice. The best by far is their white fish ceviche. A must try. Would give it another chance.

At the time of my visit to Rio de Janeiro, Zaza Bistro had the best reviews of any restaurant in my neighborhood. As I learned that night, it was for good reason. Zaza is located on a corner in what looks like an old house. It reminded me of restaurants in the Poncey-Highland area of Atlanta with bright colored paint, wrought iron fence/art and fresh vegetation. The low lighting and middle eastern music actually made the vibe extremely sexy. The drinks, featuring niche ingredients, were delicious. The entrees were small but extremely flavorful and surprisingly filling. Recommendation: Order anything with octopus. You will NOT be disappointed. Its tender, juicy and well seasoned. -- DineWithDani

Amazing Asian Brazilian fusion spot. Great seafood dishes. The shrimp risottos, the tuna, and the couscous are all great. The banana brulé is amazing. One of my favorite meals in Brazil.
