It was a good place to stay with a fine price, in very convinent and safe area. The only problem is the price of the breakfast, R$ 50,00 per guest if it's not included in the reservation.

I had maintenance problems in the room, phone didn't work, the lamp, the television control cover was broken, the desk outlets didn't work, the chair was torn, the bed lamps were stained, the toilet cover was broken, the TV channel list was incorrect I told the front desk and they said will do the renovations. And that I could have changed rooms, but it should not be like this. Change room isn't a solution. I've been there other times and never seen this, overall it's a great hotel. I believe it was an isolated case and I hope it doesn't recur.

The hotel is nice at all, the staff, the visual design, and the service. My only One avise is some improvement to the air conditioning system(some old), it takes about from 5 up to 10 minutes to get a cool temperature. It is no good to a Hot place like Rio de Janeiro.

The breakfast was good, but there wasn't forks, knives or spoons neither in my table or in the breakfast table. The room and the pool were great. There is a little shopping to eat at about 200 meters from the hotel as an option too.

The experience was amazing! The location is a little difficult without car, but, nothing too much. The basement rooms of Hotel Transamerica is great! Well air conditioned and with good infrastructure. The service of the event, which covered coffee and water, was very well served. I had a good experience!

Well, the workers there were surely very nice. But there were some stuff not so good. The food could be better, we had some hard old bread and low quality expensive cheese. Talking about expensive, these were amazingly expensive. The other low point was the air conditioning on the underground lobby. It was very hot in comparison with other well conditioned areas of the hotel.
