One of the most traditional cinemas in Rio and certainly the oldest functioning in Copacabana. Decent service and very up to date movies. Facilities can be improved including the screen. Given its age and history however I would definitely recommend a trip for a film even if it's just to experience one of the oldest picture houses in Zona Sul.

Has a great crew and good located, but that's all. It's expensive, lacks bathrooms, not proper for people with desabilities, cause to get till the second floor, there's only one way: stairs.
The screen 1 and 2 are located até room which walls are placed in a manner that you swear to yourself you are turning aside so you can fully watch the movie.

Great cinema to watch movies if you're an English speaking tourist in Copacabana. They offer most movies in English with Portuguese subtitles!

This is a nice cinema in Copacabana. The air conditioning system is however so strong. Be careful to don't be cold.

It's great to still find a street movie theater. Most of them are in shopping malls now. They are small and the sound quality is not the greatest but has some nostalgic ambient.

Screen size was good. The sound system was not good though (possibly not surround sound). American movies were in English with Portguese subtitles. Amphitheater stadium seating.
