  Certainly getting better after being sold to a private company. Animals are being taken care, apparently.

  The day we visited there was a long line in front of the entrance, don't know if it's a usual thing or not.
  
  Loved to see the exotic birds! It's a great place to bring kids.

  The Zoo was renovated, but apart from a couple of decent playgrounds and a small farm, it looks the same. It is a nice place for a Sunday morning if you don't mind seeing captivated animals.

  Not a better or worse zoo than others. If you like zoos and you are ok with merciless kids screaming at bored animals this zoo is a good place to be.

  Please, DO NOT visit this zoo. its horrible. the animals are going insane with boredom. They have no stimulation, barely any shade and there is an entire section where the animals have been abandoned without fresh water and only vultures for company.
  this place is a disgrace
