They have good live music here and good drinks, it have 3 floors, but only from the first one you can see the music performers, so it's best to make reservations in order to get a good seat. The service is ok. The street that it's located have more restaurant's and it's beautiful.

Very nice place to spend a great night in Rio. Decoration is awesome and the place have several wide ambient to stay. Music included several estiles and the venue was not crowded. If you want to get a drink the waiting time is not really long. You pay all what you eat and drink when you exit the place.
Make sure you order an uber on your way back because the surroundings are probably not the best in the place.

Interesting (old and historic) three story building on a street that is lively and active at night. Sketchy neighborhood at night but the appetizers we had were good (cheese, shrimp, and meet puffs). Fun live samba band

The place is gorgeous. There are hundreds of table settings, my friends and I love the one on the top floor that seems to have been taken directly from Count Dracula’s dining room. If you like samba and meeting nice people, that’s the place to go. Nevertheless, watch out for the surroundings, it is not the safest place and lines can take more than an hour. What boggles my mind is how poor service is, waiters are rude, food isn’t good and everything takes ages to come.

Great atmosphere with the live band and all the people dancing.

Restaurant is really interesting almost like a museum.

Didnt get 5 stars as the food wasnt very good. We had steaks which were tough although the salad was excellent

Traditional Brazilian restaurant/bar. It offers an authentic and amazing Samba show on the first floor. Reservations are recommended if you want to enjoy the show plenty. However, if you come early in the evening, there may be some tables available on the second floor. The service is alright. The food taste is not quite amazing. In fact, there's much better Brazilian food on the streets.

Beside that the place is obviously a tourist trap, we had a very bad experience. After 2 hours waiting in a ugly room with poor misc quality, excess air-conditioning and no service we left the place for another restaurant. Many other visitors did the same. In stead of apologies for the bad service we received the bill for meals that we had ordered but never I reached out table, a service fee and entrance fees. The only meal that reached our table poor quality salad with bacon. The place is very expensive for the poor quality they offer. If you are lucky the have a table in the main room you can enjoy the good atmosphere. We couldn't see or hear anything about what was going on in the stage or dancefloor. After a long discussion we could leave without paying everything. But the security makes sure they you won't leave without paying. Many people we heard many people complaining about similar issues. At the end we had a good dinner in a nearby Italian restaurant were we met other groups that "had managed to escape from Rio Scenarium."

Nice concept, and worth the experience. But the food was really low quality, and musicians look bored. I recommend to the owners to spice it up and make it more authentic. Couldn't even finish the chewy fish they served, and Jesus; stay away from that soda-style mojito.

A massive venue with 3 different floors in Lapa, the heart of Rio. The scene is amazing, the architecture is very traditional and every corner of each floors show a different decoration theme. Drinks are amazing and the vibe is 10 out of 10. Didn't eat, but I saw people enjoying delicious appetizers during breaks between dance times. A must visit for a real taste of fun in Rio.

Was working at the Olympics and had the pleasure of going here on a few evenings..great music.dancing.bands.drinks..food.and a great atmosphere.A great night out.but not cheap.you leave your credit card details when you book in and pay when you leave..

This might be one of my favorite places in Rio's night life. Although it's expensive, it's totally worthy it. There are two dance floors with music for all kinds of people. The best thing in this place is the ornamentation. It's really beautiful. If you're visiting Rio, it's definitely a place that you should visit.
