Exceptional menu diversity, good food at fair price, best place for sandwiches in Rio.
Pleasant cheap food - service ok
The filet mignon sandwich with pineapple and cheese was soooo good. The service here was amazing, the guys are so friendly and welcoming and gave great recommendations. The fried fish balls (forgot name) sounded terrible from reading the description but my god were they amazing. Awesome grub.
This was a pleasant lunch stop. The sandwich portions were generous but the turkey and cheese left a bit to be desired. The sandwiches do all have pineapple on them, which is an interesting topping. The home made hot sauce was quite spicy and flavorful. The fresh lemonade was our favorite!
Best Sandwich of all!! In late night it's one of the last open places to eat a very good sandwich in Copacabana
The "Churrascaria mixed meat Cervantes style" meal was awesome! It had great tasting chicken , pork, steak, and sausage with rice and some sort of dried crumbled meat on top. The waiter was very friendly and agreed to me switching French fries for salad, carrots and onions. The meal came with a side of limes and some sort of pickled sliced tomatoes and onions (almost exactly like Mexican "pico de gallo"). The fresh lime juice (a bit like lemonade) went great with the meal too. For 2 servings Churrascaria and 2 lime-ade juices (refilled once each) all for $119 R$ it was quite reasonable .
Good food good service. Try the steack sandwich absolutely lovely.
A 'real' place not for tourist only. A taste of carioca life. The place is stuck in the 70' and is oldish but it is full of life. The service is fast, efficient and very polite. Their sandwiched are very famous. I clearly tasted the Cervantes Special, even if the meat and ananas is not among on my preferred taste, but if you want to taste Rio you need to taste it its way. The cost is valued for money. My sandwich was the most expensive (32 BRL) and with the beer the total was 40. Do not forget to give some top (10% at least) because it is not included usually happens in Rio. Not to miss if you are in Copacabana
Affordable food at generous portions
It is a nice place to lunch or dinner. That place is famous for their delicious sandwich.
A good option to grab a late snack. It's open until late hours.
Best sandwiches in Rio. Open till late hours, up to 5am. Popular with all sorts of crowds. Fast and kind service. Waiters wear bow ties. Very traditional. Beats ANY fast food restaurants. Try their classic filet mignon sandwich with a huge slab of cheese and sweetened pineapple. Yes. It's decadent!!!!
The Cervantes sandwich with the pate is delicious but I didn't really like the pineapple.
Classic! Traditional sandwiches open late hours. You can't go wrong here.
