  Have stayed at approx 30 hostels across Europe and South America, and this was potentially the worst I've ever stayed at. Was offered drugs from the staff before they smoked up in the rooms. Only 1 of the 3 washrooms worked at a time, servicing the entire hostel. Hot water is at a premium to say the least. Day staff was actually decent, night staff was atrocious. Asked to take photos of your passport from their personal cell phones. Find somewhere else to stay!

  Located in a quiet neighborhood which is pretty safe but not a lot of action. If you are traveling with other people, airbnb would be a better choice if available.
