  The time I spent at Dona Marica was lovely! Hills, eucalyptus, a couple of cows, crazy chickens, a town near enough to walk to, hang gliding, a horse, the lovely view from pretty much every room, the dogs Tony, Tete, Radija and Marcelinho, and the lovely hostess. I stayed in the big room, which was convenient to our needs. Two single beds and two doubles fitted very well in the space, and a fireplace kept it comfortably warm when it became cool at night in August. I very much enjoyed the terrace and the hammocks, as well as the enclosed porch that gave plenty of space for various breakfasting groups. All in all, this was a lovely, relaxing retreat!
