  I have been coming to Luigi's for around 20 years and have never left dissatisfied. It's the most reliable moderate budget restaurant in Rio. Excellent Italian restaurant!

  Este restaurante italiano é um cantinho aconchegante em Laranjeiras, do lado da Praça São Salvador. É multifacetado em três áreas, com atendimento atencioso e comida de correta execução. Provei a bruschetta tradicional e a pizza vegetariana. Ambos gostosos e bem feitos, sem excessos, mas também sem empolgar em demasia. As massas parecem apetitosas e ficaram para uma próxima oportunidade.

  Pizza is good for Italian standards. I also enjoy "eggplant parmigiana" . You can find there a semi-artesanal beer ("Noi") that is quite good.

  Luigi's served up the best meal I had during a 2 day stop over in Rio de Janeiro! All the food was amazing, from salads to pizza and pasta to dessert. They also had a great wine and local craft beer selection in bottles.
