Probably the worst bar I've ever been in my life. Terrible service with despicable security and incredibly incompetent waiters.
Some of my group waited 2 hours for an undercooked and frankly disgusting so called "plate" which I would guilty to serve to my dog.
You like karaoke? You can have some for a hour waiting and of course every song will lighten your wallet by way too much.
I wont even mention the pull, the only one in the world in which you have to pay another full game when the white ball gets down. Or, as the waiter genuinely said "you just have to use the yellow one instead" because sure why not.
Overall this bar is a factory to bend tourists over without the mere decency to pretend doing overwise.

I love this place. It is not a pub in the British sense, but the ambience feels very close. They charge an entrance fee of about R$10,00 for no apparent reason. On Sundays there is kareoke, which is fun to say the least. You can play darts and there is a pool table on the second floor. Reservation for parties is accepted and welcomed.

Just love this English pub! Very easy going and great, friendly staff. Always a pleasure to come here for a drink!

This bar is a great way to quickly feel at home for people of English speaking cultures! The menu is in English, the TV's have on American sports and the music is also in English. I had a great time here with friends! The only downside was when the live band started to play it was very loud and making it hard to have conversations with anyone.

A good pub to meet other gringos, watch a game of rugby or be rudely awakened with the unnecessary loud music and low quality of live jams.

The food is great, really. Given this is a bar, to be able to eat a great burrito, onion rings or burguer is definetely a good thing.
Also, the prices are not painfuly high, both foods and drinks are well priced, taking in account this is a bar in Ipanema.
As a side note, you will get kicked out of the bar if it gets dangerously empty.response / report this review
