This hotel is pretty decent, the problem is what they charge isn't compatible with what it offers. For example for the price they charge I expect to be in a better area of town, I expect breakfast to be included, I expect shampoo to be available in the rooms and so on. For these reasons there is simply no reason to ever stay here again considering the abundance of options that offer all of the above for similar prices

Well located for Lapa with nearby bars and restaurants. A modest hotel with aging decor and fittings it is comfortable and clean. Breakfast is good and well attended. Car parking secure and included. WiFi good.

Equipe de garçons nota 1000, em especial o Anastácio, garçon muito simpático e atencioso. Em contrapartida, as recepcionistas muito antipáticas, a equipe de camareiras também muito atenciosas e competentes. O café da manhã é bem bacana, o único ponto fora da curva é a recepção

Hotel simples localizado na Lapa bem próximo da escadaria Selarón. Quartos simples, colhões confortáveis, lençóis e toalhas limpas mas já precisando de uma renovação. O Ar condicionado do 203 é muito barulhento e retorna água no quarto em forma de goteira. A ducha é fantástica, estacionamento amplo e o pessoal é nota 10.

Peguei quarto com Hidromassagem, Quarto bonito, espaçoso porém a área que tem a Hidro e a Sauna é um puxadinho que fizeram, pintura horrível e a água quente funciona muito mal, tomei banho frio a noite pois a água não esquentava, depois aprendi que temnque ficar uns 5 minutos com a água ligada bem fraca pra conseguir um pouco de água quente, quando cheguei, tem um sofá em frente aos 2 quartos que tem no andar, tinha uma bandeja com restos de refeição, cheguei as 19:00 e saí as 08:00 a bandeja ainda estava lá, café da manhã bem simples, funcionário bem educados e prestativos.

Estive neste hotel após o carnaval e não tenho nenhuma recomendação positiva. Privada entupida, ar condicionado não estava funcionando corretamente, café da manhã fraco, buffet de almoço terrível. Fui cobrada indevidamente no checkout e a funcionária da recepção sempre com a mesma cara antipatica. Salvo o funcionário do buffet Anastácio e as camareiras, não recomendo em nada este hotel!!!

Ótimo custo benefício. Recém reformado conta novas áreas comuns agradáveis. Ótima opção para jantar. E localização bem estratégica.

Os quartos não são muito bons nem muito ruim já é a segunda vez que me hospedo aki e das duas vezes n gostei dá arrogância dá atendente dei três estrelas por isso em breve voltarei se melhorar os atendentes dá próxima vez dou uma nota melhor

Writting this review while staying at this hotel, though I would not call it a Hotel but they certainly are charging money as if it were a hotel, which is R$195/day which is I think very expensive considering you can get far better hotels in many expensive countries/cities. The neighborhood seems very shoddy but I tell you people aint that bad. We went walking around mid night and there were old ladies walking around. Its not like walking in Bronx/Newark or even certain parts of London. There are loads of restaurants and few of them stay open late, although they look very dirty but the food was nice, we had BBQ chicken and it was good, very good.
We had a look around for a better hotel and not very far is Diamond Hotel which is very nice and they offered R$230/ day. I would go and stay there if I were with my family. Another thing needs mention about the city is if you with children keep them away from pay phone as all of them have very rude pictures.response / report this review -

Situated in questionable neighborhood i Lapa. Service is bad, the personel doesn't speak a word english, and there is no breakfast. However the bed is fine, so is the bathroom.
