mediocre experience and food

We went there yesterday night, had such low quality food and service that we had to speak with the manager who waived our bill with explanation that we should come next time to see that it was an exception, but still one cannot accept such a bad service from a restaurant which wants to be fancy.

Maybe we had bad day since other comments are very positive.

The food is wonderful, the service friendly and very good. Went there twice in one week. The Melanzane starter (eggplant and cheese presented like a lasagne) is a fantastic starter. The 300 gram black Angus steak was delicious.
When we had some Whiskey after dinner, they left the (almost empty) bottle at the table. We finished it and when the bill came it listed three glasses. However their own measure on the bottle showed two. They corrected the bill without discussion. Which is also why we went back a second time.

Just went there because of high review and it's next to my hotel. Not sure why it got high rating. After I sit down, the waiter immediately serve a large portion of appetizer, which fortunately I asked and returned. When I ordered water, they serve me a R$16 bottle water. I liked lamb and ordered a R$120 lamb chop dish. The dish was very small portion and does not taste better than regular steakhouse in the US. I felt tricked all the way in the dinner. Maybe this is a high-class restaurant I shouldn't have visited.
