I was amaze that i enjoy it so badly. like 1h visit. You learn about the hydric basin sustem pf the region and why there is too much water in the area. cool visit for willing to learn.

Foi a primeira visita do passeio de um dia inteiro que fizemos ao complexo de Itaipu e começamos com chave de ouro. O pessoal do museu é super atencioso e prestativo. Para quem gosta de visitar esse tipo de ambiente, recomendo pelo menos duas horas de passeio. Entretanto, é etapa imprescindível mesmo que tiver apenas uma hora para visitar o museu. O acervo é bastante diversificado e há diversos aspectos a explorar, tanto do ponto de vista dos temas técnicos relacionados à usina quanto para ter uma percepção do impacto que a obra teve na região.

This is basically a museum of the area, with exhibits on its recent history, its early human history, the history of the nearby hydroelectric project, the wildlife, etc. etc. Definitely worth checking out if you have the time.

This is an intresting place with a collection of different tools, elements and reconstitutions. I particularly liked the reconstitution of the turbine room of Itaipu dam.
