Best coffee spot in São Paulo. Usually the internet is working, all coffees are great and the snacks are incredible.
For coffee: Cappuccino or Cappuccino Ritual. As alternative you can also have the Coffee that has red grains. Pretty sweet without sugar
Sweet snack: Cake with coffee on top (Don't remember the name)
Slat snack: Brioche
Wish I was there now! Love their ethic (no straws, their "made out of petroleum and wrapped in petroleum or trees") and delicious coffee. The ritual aspect is nice too, your coffee is brought to you and steeped at the table side. Cute back patio like area as well as people watching street views. Cool neighborhood too
This place is great. They have menus in English (looked like probably other languages as well). I tried the Julianito, it was a cold drink, very refreshing. I want to come back to try more, especially the rituals. The seeing is very nice, and they seem to be very environmentally conscious.
I am obsessed with the place. Since moving to São Paulo the only thing I missed was a good Italian style cappuccino. Coffee lab is the place to go for these and any coffee based drink. They also have wonderful desserts. I recommend their Rituals; it's an opportunity to compare a good vs bad coffee, to understand what food goes with coffee, etc. Go see for yourself and bring friends. It's a lot of fun and a beautiful location. (Could be a wait)
I would give six stars to it. It was the best coffee shop me and my girl visited in Brazil. We just love coffee and the extras that the shop offered. Staff really know each coffee and they will happily explain what you are drinking by the time you are seeing its preparation. Cozy and very quiet. Perfect place too chill out and get rid of rough Sao Paulo routine.
I'm a coffee lover and this is probably the best coffee shop I have ever been. They don't only offer excellent coffee drinks but they also share their knowledge about coffee. You can try the "Rituais" to learn the difference of an ordinary coffee to an extraordinary coffee, or how a coffee prepared with an Aero Press compares with one prepared in a French Press (plunger). And although they are very well renowned, they keep an unpretentious and laid-back atmosphere. It is a must go for any coffee enthusiast.
Coffee snob is not enough.
Stuck up coffee
2h in line to drink a cup of coffee.
The hostess calls my name, making me crack a smile after 2h of frowning. When I get up she says "they don't have a table yet, she was only checking to see if I was still there"
What a joke. I asked to read the menu, and after reading how snob it was I decided to leave.
All I wanted was a good cup of coffee after my lunch.
One of the best coffee places in Sao Paulo! The team there knows everything about their coffee and brew the best beverages around town. Everything is awesome, from the place itself to the beverage to the coffees!
Great cafe with a wide variety of coffee roasts from various parts of Brazil. Wi-Fi service has changed in last months (I also experienced spotty coverage last year, but last two visits it's been perfect.) Regarding the reviewer who was frustrated that a waiter never came It's a peculiarity, but they don't really do table service, you need to go into the kitchen to order. Might seem strange but it allows people to sit peacefully outside. You also go into the shop to pay.
Just right into the whole gourmet coffee trend, Coffee Lab offers great tastings and great service from professional baristas. The place is cool and very laid back. Great option for informal meetings and afternoon breaks. I would avoid visiting on weekends, cuz it gets very crowded.
Coffee Lab is a café, barista school and sensory lab located in Vila Madalena – a trendy neighborhood famous for its bars and nightlife.
At Coffee lane you can take a break from the city in the inner courtyard and sip one of their delicious coffees with a sweet Brazilian pastry. The perfect diet to start your day in busy Sao Paulo
Lovely spot, very friendly staff and great coffee as well! Worth a visit
I have been only once, gonna try it again.
Good service and coffee, but internet doesn't work.
