One of the most luxurious Churrascaria that I have ever seen in Brazil. The option for a buffet seemed like the best way to go, but after eating close to 700g of meat, I believe that you can try a different option in the menu for a better price. Although, having the option to choose the cut that you like the best all the time is an appealing way to gain a loyal customer. Please try the "Picanha" cut and a good round of local craft beer. One of the best places that I have visited in rio, and I would visit it again and again. Highly recommend!!

The food variety here and buffet here were absolutely excellent! I believe that had upwards to 20 different variety of meat going around as well as a very good buffet. Make sure to come here with a huge appetite as it is all you can eat. The reason for missing one star is simply the value. There are better Churrascarias in Rio that cost much less than this place.

A truly enjoyable experience. Plenty of food and fantastic service. The host of our area was prompt and informative.
The wine selection was diverse.
As desirable as the food buffet is I would recommend pacing yourself as the meat selection will not stop coming and you do not want to miss any of it due to stuffing yourself full of sushi and oysters.
We will suggest this place to anyone heading to Rio. The price is high for a good reason and justified.response / report this review -

Came here Christmas eve at 7.30. The hostess told me they were opening at 8. I told her I didn't have a reservation and she said that wouldn't be a problem. I came back promptly at 8 and they said they couldn't sit me, even though they had just seated 2 people without a reservation. I suspect it was really because I was dining alone and they didn't want to "waste" a table on me. By the time they turned me away, all the other restaurants in the area had closed. Thanks a lot

A bit hard to find, and was under construction when we arrived. That was too bad. The welcome was very nice, and the lady spoke fluent English.. What a relief that was. Then we got a tablet and could choose several dished, however the tablet was merely for show. You could not order with it. They served excellent meat and like all other restaurants, the come quickly . So here take you time to process all the lovely foods They show Lobster on their website, but there was none. unfortunately.. The angus beef was excellent Make sure you try that. Several different beers The buffet was simple but that is not what we came for Not a place for vegetarians Pricing is a bit high, but the quality of the served food is excellent..

No idea why this place is recommended. The meat and seafood served was overcooked and the cuts were poor.
A cocktail ordered was extremely strong to the point where it was undrinkable.
There are much much better places in town!
After raising issues and providing some feedback, staff attempted to act but the quality was comparable to the initial bits served!
Very disappointing, considering the previous reviews and price being charged!
My recommendation: Avoid, as not worth nearly what you are paying!response / report this review -

TOURIST TRAP! (Food is good but service is poor & DAM its pricey💰💰💰)
The GOOD 👍👍
- The buffet is decent with many salad options / fresh sushi + sashimi / excellent cheese options / some warm dishes too)
- All of the meat is fantastic. Really well seasoned cuts of all types (beef / chicken / lamb / ribs )
- Plate replacements are faster than light.
The BAD 👎👎👎
- The seafood tray is awful. Shrimp is not cleaned so the dark sand vein is still intact along with the shell The grilled calamari was just ok.
- The decor and setting is completely outdated. Feels like an old cafeteria rather than a high end steakhouse.
- Table setting feels chaotic.
- Our table of 4 was joined with another table of 4 Why? I wasn't interested in hearing discriminatory remarks coming from the table right next to us
- They charged us R$27 (15 CAD) for a 750ml bottle of water. That's insane. Most cocktails around the city are ~R$ 20.
- The seating tax is a chunky 12%. I don't mind if the service is good but servers are always rushed so multiple times we've had meat juice either sprayed or dripped on one of us If you prefer a calm meal, this place is not for you.
Gave it a 1-star because my expectations were high based on other reviews & the full package experience is sub-par. (meat selection is excellent)response / report this review -

This place has a historic connection. On the same build above the Churrascaria Palace, lived Jorge Amado with his wife Zélia Gattai. Jorge Amado, best known of modern Brazilian writers. He wrote Dona Flor and Her Two Husbands and many others.

Eat all you can. Plenty of sides available before your mains. Pianist to entertain while you dine. Nice interior and clean restrooms. Better to reserve your table as waiting time can be more than 40 minutes. Be prepared to pay more than at other restaurants

Great restaurant, offering typical churrascaria barbecue, fixed price all you can eat meet. A true favourite of mine whenever I am in Rio.
Good selection of sea food and over 200 wines to cater for every taste. Very comprehensive choice of hard liquor too.

The service was very good, the meat also good and the assortment at the central table had also it varieties.
Location in Copacabana makes it easier for you are around and wants to eat some good meat.

One of the best classic BBQ places in Rio de Janeiro, you still get little bit of the feeling of the high days of Copacabana. Buffet and Quality of meat is always excellent. Service of the waiters is excellent and they do speak enough english to explain you the cut of meat they are bringing to you.

I've been here with my boyfriend for my birthday. Perfect choice. The food is so good and the staff amazing.
My favourite meat was the picanha.

Amazing buffet, already that would will be worth the approx. 40US$. Sushi, oysters, cheese, salad, ham, vegetables and more.
But then come the meats, and they are absolutely fantastic! Just don't eat too much from the first ones, because there will be many more to come and you can anytime ask for more of your favourite.
The wine last seems almost infinitely long.
