Great relaxing hostel in a really cool and safe favela. The hostel is basic but great for those who have travelled before and can be left to themselves to sort their own itinerary out. The staff are helpful, kitchen is great and the views are beautiful. If you want food the shops are close by and there are a couple small restaurants surrounding the hostel.

I stayed a few nights in Chill Hostel and had a really great time. It's a bit of a hike up a hill, but the area is really interesting and safe, with amazing views from the terrace. The people working there were really nice and it's a great place to relax. There is no breakfast, but lots of good and cheap food within a couple minutes walking. The are no organized events through the hostel, but I still met a lot of people there as there are a lot of common areas, kitchen, terrace, etc

Very nice terraces and good location. Really nice building. There are no rules and be expected to be waken up at all time by areas next to dormitory for nightlife. Big internet crashes. Overall a good stay though
