  Beautiful pousada. The staff made me feel like family.Good energy all the time. Quiet and Relaxing. The rooms were nice, spacious and clean. Breakfast were always fresh and above my expectations. Fully stocked fridge with snacks, drinks and other goodies for purchase. The pousada is very green and covered in art. Its perfectly located in the center of Santa Teresa, which in my view is the center and heart of Rio De Janeiro. I have traveled all over stayed in pousadas, hotels, inns, bed and breakfasts and more. Hands down this one is on my top five in the world. Than you Casa Aurea.

  I found this to be a fantastic place from which to absorb brazillian culture, music, art, food and spiritually. I happily spent much time here instead of rushing out to sites of Rio. The location is perfect to wander around Santa Teresa from. Its clean, comfortable, fairly priced, relaxed, organised and informative.
