Great hotel! Staff are polite.
É hotel muito interessante, pois envolve piscina, café da manhã recheado de coisas saudáveis e saborosas.Me interessei muito pelo hotel
Ótimo atendimento.
Great place and management, loved the food and the location.
Nice rooms, with a small flat-screen TV with lots of channels (but not HDMI compatible), fast and stable wifi. Amazing breakfast, near one of the most famous beaches in the city (but there is lots of trash in the beach, I recommend going to that beach only to appreciate the view, not swimming in the ocean). The downside of the hotel is that for the price it charges it doesn't offer that much structure. The pool is behind the hotel and after 4pm the sun is gone over there despite the sunny day.
Good location.
Excellent and large rooms, Aldo large bathrooms too.
The guest service was very good and the breakfast was excellent, with many options to choose. Love it!
Good location, regular rooms and good service
I would not say it is the worst hotel I ever stayed in but then I stayed in some poor places! This hotel might be ok if you go for a cheap beach holiday because the beach is fantastic. Even in Brazilian winter the water is great and the sun warm.
The hotel itself has seen its days. The rooms are run down and look tired, very tired. The electric cables are hanging loose and the plugs are from another century. Open holes in the walls and badly insulated doors and windows make you feel unconfortable. Clearly dusting is not part of the cleaning procedure, but why they decided to put all this furniture in one room (1 double bed, a single bed, a stand alone fridge, a tiny TV, but no chair!), I don't know. It's not like any of them is of particular good quality. The bed in my first room broke as soon as I sat on it (I am heavy, but not that heavy!) and there is no warm water in the sink (so don't plan to do wet shaving whilst here). The air conditioner seems fairly new but makes an awful amount of noise. You need to keep the windows closed though! There are a lot of mosquitos. The hotel gets treated every evening, which means the whole hotel (also inside) gets smoked out and I don't even want to know what sort of stuff is in there.
The pool area looks fairly big but run down, so I didn't try it. No other possibilities.
The breakfast buffet is the usual thing for Brazil. Why they cannot give me just bread, butter and jam is beyond me. At least offer me something with potatoes with my sausages and scrambled eggs!
The people seem nice enough but I will never know as they speak no foreign language. I tried German, French, Italian and English. Nothing works. This place is clearly for the Brazilian low budget tourist. If you need to come to Cabo Frio for business, go and stay somewhere else!
