Tradition Brazilian/portuguese style bar. The snacks and entrees are very good. I recommend the shrimp "empada" with "catupiry". There isn't a large variety of beer but the usual brahma or itaipava chopp. The bar is usually crowded, so keep that in mind if you like more reserved places. Overall it is a good and traditional bar but very good snacks, although the prices have risen lately.

Old style Brazilian bar. Had some light bites which were nice. Drinks were good too. Not sure how much of its charm has been kept over the years though.

I can't deny, they have delicious bolinhos (fish cakes) and good chopp in nice surroundings but I used to be there and it was better place. They are a very traditional place, famous for its clientele (champagne socialists and artists) and good chopp but the place suffered many losses over the years. Last visit was disappointing - The standards of hygiene of the place is disappointing when considering prices. Bolinhos weren't very hot, service was not so good.

Close to the beach, a small tradicional place, where you must have to go and try their appetizers and beer on tap.

Always packed, but it doesn't really matter, as they will serve you cold tap beer and finger food right on the sidewalk. Order bolinho de camarão (yuca dough with shrimp filling) and you will not regret it.
