Good tour, pretty organized to and from, friendly guides. The lodge is like a camp or cottage so doesn't require much preparations and the activities are not difficult. Accommodation could be better. Fans are broken or don't rotate so can get uncomfortable in the heat. I know its the Amazon but if you're going to have them might as well have them work. Overall good value and cool experience.
I know this part of the world well having been on many biological expeditions to the most remote part of the Amazonas and I would highly recommend Gero Tours! Gero is a gem of a person, he responded to our messages quickly and created the perfect personal tour for us at the last minute - no one else in Manaus would or could do this. We we're on a one day stop over in Manaus so timing was of utmost importance in order not to miss the flight. Gero organised everything perfectly, it couldn't have been better! The guides were real experts and we saw a lot of wild life in a single afternoon including sloth, caiman, pink dolphins and piranhas! The area was around the Ararinha Jungle Hotel. A top quality trip and service! A truly memorable day in Manaus! Thanks you to Gero and the team!
I love these guys. Great value. Great food. Great people. I miss it already. The team is extremely accommodating to our needs and responding to weather.
Perfect service The best company.. Strongly recommended
Gero tours did the very best in organizing our tour. Their dedication is truly amazing, We went on a 5 day, 4 night tour, which is actually not that expensive. Gero's lodges are better than what you would expect from a Amazone lodge. Our guide kept us busy round the day with different activities, all in conjunction with our needs. We've been Piranha fishing, spotted everything from dolphins to sloths, to boa constrictors, to 3 different kind of monkeys, to tarantula's, the whole package. Most of these animals, whe have been able to spot thanks to our great guide; Shawn (ask for him!). I cannot imagine a tour operator more committed to his guests.
