  Café da manhã nota 10!! Estava procurando um momento delicioso com a minha família e encontrei. Ficamos muito satisfeitos com atendimento e com o café.

  Fomos ao local, apenas para almoçar (não me hospedei), mas aproveitamos para passaear pelos jardins e pelo pomar.
  O cardápio é simples, com poucas opções e trivial. Mas a comida é saborosa.
  Apesar de não ter me hospedado, visitei dois quartos (só para conhecer o local). Achei os quartos muito pequenos.

  O ponto alto é sem dúvida o excelente atendimento, principalmente no restaurante. A comida é muito boa, com destaque para a massa ao funghi e as sopas. Apenas o paisagismo em geral que precisaria ser melhorado (mais bem cuidado)

  Good food, but too expensive for what they offer. The place is beautiful and very charmming. One of the best things is an adorable old lady serving water and cake.

  Lugar encantado que eu frequento desde a infância devido a distância da minha casa e à amizade do meu pai com a dona Laura. Comida ótima, quartos lindos e um jardim muito bem cuidado. Não sei se existe ainda mas a casa na árvore escondida pelo jardim era linda.

  They have a fantastic restaurant. Go on Saturday to try the "feijoada". The place is wonderful and the house is so beautiful and cozy. Prices are expensive.

  I highly recommend Pousada Alcobaça and think that it is a must for anyone traveling around the state of Rio. It offers a much different side of Brazil than most travelers get to experience. They make you feel like you are in your own home, which is a nice change of pace from the big cities. If for no other reason it is worth making the drive to Pousada Alcobaça just to experience the food in their home-style restaurant. If you make it up there I would recommend the filet (everything that comes with it was grown right there on the grounds) as well as the feijoada (the traditional black beans and rice) If you can only eat one meal there you should probably get them both. Alcobaça gets two thumbs up from me and I look forward to returning there on my next trip.
