Interesting land scape. Easy access by local bus which you can catch from Igresia de San Francisco.

Really cool park not too far out of the city. The hike around the park is pretty easy and the rock formations are very unique and picturesque. It really does feel like you’re walking on another planet! 😊👍

Excellent scenery! Definitely do it without a tour, get yourself to the end of the Green line cable car and negotiate a taxi to the valley (30Bs is max) entrance is 15Bs each but they didn't have a lot of change when we were there! A tour quoted us Bs109 each so definitely saved money! (yellow line and green are connected at time of writing but not red so plan accordingly! )

Nice tourism place, although it could be better and well organized.

30 min from downtown La Paz, these geological formations are mesmerizing. You must make a quick stop. Plan for 1 hour hiking on gravel and dirt, so dress and wear shows appropriately. In La Paz it may rain out if the blue, so if it the rainy season bring a rain jacket.

A very aptly named place, Moon Valley is a very interesting site to visit. It has very unusual shapes, its formations made up of sandstone and clay, you feel almost in a lunar landscape, and because of the colour, is a little like Bryce Canyon in the US, although much smaller. Well worth visiting.

Really interesting place to walk around for a couple of hours. There are a few places like this in the world, where sandstones are eroded in an interesting manner. This is probably the best version I've seen and the views back down the valley are great.

Good for about 10 minutes. I think the sign says it will take 40 minutes to see everything but you could do it in 15 if you wanted.

Really cool place and easy to get to from down town La Paz. Just take the Yellow cable car, transfer to the Green cable car, and get off at Irpavi. From there you take a taxi to Valle de la Luna: don't pay more than 15 Bs. for the ride either direction. The taxi's will try to charge you much more.

The hike around itself pleasant, but don't expect to be there for more than an hour. After walking around the landscape will get a bit repetitive. But this is a really unique place and worth seeing.

Well worth the visit even though it is a small park. Just take a cab from the bottom of the green teleferico line otherwise it is over an hour of walking. The view on the other side of the park is well worth it and cost is only 15 bolivianos

The Moon-Valley is a fun place to visit if you have time and it's included in a tour, but I would not pay a taxi to get there only to see it.

Not bad, but it's a bit small and already too touristic.

Really not worth it, takes an age to get there by local bus and then you can walk round the whole place is less than an hour. And this was walking slowly.

If you happen to be passing this place pop in, it is quite nice. But don't make a trip just to see this.

Nice rock formation just 10 min from South of La Paz. Definitely did not expect it. The park is small in 1 hour you can see it all.
